So ich habe heute endlich den Schritt gewagt. Die Sortierung meiner Bilder Galerie gefiel mir schon seit langem nicht mehr richtig. Ich habe nun ein wenig überlegt und denke das die neue Anordnung zukünftig besser passt, auch wenn sie noch nicht ganz fertig ist. Dadurch sind natürlich derzeit einige Links in Beiträgen oder auch die Google Maps mit den HDR Bildern nicht ganz richtig. Dieses werde ich aber in den nächsten Tagen korrigieren.

In the last Version of the Documentation of the Schenker XML Tracking was a failure in the section for the creation of the new Schenker Reference Number (Short: STT). A full actual list of the Schenker Department Codes is also available for download noe. If have trouble with Request for Shipments after 21.05.2008 please take a look into the new Version of the Guide. The english Version of the UserGuide will be ready within this week.

The Version 0.1.2 of UTAC is ready for download now. The most important change is the support for the TEMPerHum Device, so from now on you a able to read temperature and humidty from this device with utac. But there are many many more changes.

The HDR Picture Story of Hannover by night goes on. The new shots are from the Market Church, the Atrium (also known as the old city hall) and thelower saxony federal state parliament (is this the right translation for the german word landtag??

A look at the Roadmap of the Bugtracker shows that all tasks for the Version 0.1.2 of UTAC are finished. So this means all programming work is done, and now there is a code freeze. No new options will be added to the current version, just Bugfixes are allowed. I hope the testing will be successfully and finished until next weekend, so I can release the next version.. an overview of the changes can be found at the Roadmap Page in the Bugtracker

From the 21.05.2008 the Schenker Shipment Reference Number (Short: STT) changes. Instead of the known 14 characters the number now have 15 characters. The STT will be extended with the year. The Interface itself has no changes, just the creation of the STT for the Request on the Interface differs. Grab the new UserGuide here:

Because all interesting illuminated things in my home town were already shot by me, i increased the radius a little bit and started to take HDR Shots from Hannover by night. Under the first pictures there are for example the INI, the new city hall and the opera. And i found out.. in hannover they also look confused at you if you walk through the city with your tripod and your camera within the blue hour The full gallery can be found here (will be extended in the future). And i also started a google Map for the Hannover HDR Shots.

I’d like to welcome Guy LaRochelle as developer to the UTAC Project. Guy has a lot of experience in C# and so much motivation, that I have no other choice then let him join the project. Guy already wrote a French Language File which is available for download now. I’m looking forward for a good co-operation with him and think this will bring more quality to UTAC and a faster reply for Bugs and Feature Requests in the future.

After I took a little time to thought about it, I felt the decision to make UTAC Open Source. UTAC is now listed on sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/projects/utac/). At this place you’ll find all Downloads in future. The main development tree is available in the trunk via subversion (but it’s very unstable at the moment). In the future there will be tags with source snapshots for all stable versions. The Bugtracker won’t move to sourceforge, because I like mantis more than the one from sf. So if you find a bug or have a feature request pls. open a ticket at the local Bugtracker or send me a mail.
